Artist Bio
Natali Guttman-Baird is a professional glass artist living in Bradford Ontario. Her works have been exhibited across Canada. She uses many hot glass techniques to create lasting things of beauty.
Nature is my inspiration. The symmetry of a flower, cells in a leaf, fibres of a feather, irradiances of an insect’s wings. All of these are delicate to touch, yet can withstand the wind, sun, and rain – like glass.
The other very big change is in my studio.
I’ve set up an additional torch, and will be giving lessons.
Beads are a great way to learn how to manipulate glass, and create beautiful things quickly.
There are some very excited students out there, and I’m glad to finally be set up to do this.
